A Lady in Boom.
I want to teach my son to look for the qualities of a morning glory, as
apposed to a rose, in his mate. A morning glory is beautiful but is more
interested in growing throughout the garden. A rose focuses on its beauty,
is high maintenance, attracts all sorts of nasty bugs that eat it, and will
stick a thorn in those who love it(the gardener) when least expected. The
rose wants to be in the spotlight where as the morning glory blooms(full of
energy) upon first light and is humble(down plays its beauty) when attention is lavished on it(sunlight). And then I will tell him to look to his mother who most
embodies these qualities and is every bit the Proverbs 31 woman.
What are other ways to expound upon this analogy?
